Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information Talkifi uses to run and protect the service. It does not promise complete anonymity or privacy.

Information we process

Depending on how you use Talkifi, our server and hosting providers may process your temporary session identifier, IP address, browser/device information, chat session and message data, reports, technical logs, age-gate acceptance, and the date, food, or location selections you submit.

Location

Talkifi may request device/GPS location only after your browser asks for permission. Location access is optional unless you choose a location-based feature. The site can use the location you select to find nearby places. It currently uses GeoNames for place names and Geoapify for nearby-place results; it does not use Google Maps. Your online count is not changed by manually selecting a date-search area.

Camera and microphone

Camera and microphone access is requested by your browser only when you choose video chat. You can deny or revoke permission at any time. Talkifi does not activate them unexpectedly.

Use and retention

Information is used to operate chat/video features, prevent abuse, investigate reports, maintain technical security, and comply with law. We aim to retain only what is reasonably needed for these purposes.
